with fundaframe you can fund individual frames - or whole batches of them! - in films which are yet to be made. this allows independent filmmakers of both shorts and features with a vision but no money to realise their projects, thanks to you.
what you get in return will depend on the project and how many frames you fund: it could be a credit on the film, it could be a day on the set, it could be a free download of the film once it's made or the DVD, it could be an invite to the premiere party, it could even be an associate producer credit. to find out exactly what's in it for you, apart from the pleasure of knowing you're helping create a film, go to the projects page where you'll find the various frame-funding options listed and the benefits explained.
framefunding is a new concept in film funding, but it's already been tested: the first ever short to be funded through fundaframe was THE STUDY OF BUNKERS & MOUNDS IN A TEMPERATE CLIMATE (RELATIVELY SPEAKING) by sebastian michael. it was "highly commended" at the TCM classic shorts competition and was in the official selection of the 2007 locarno international film festival, one of the most prestigious festivals on the circuit. so: fundaframe works. you can watch the trailers or preview and download this film here.
you should be able to find out more or less everything there is to know about fundaframe from these pages. but if you have any questions, don't ever hesitate to drop us a line. or, if you're really curious why not just fund a frame now? our current project is a really exciting short by new writer director jamime hewitt, and you can fund a frame in it for the price of a half-pint. got to be worth a try.
